About me
I'm a freelance writer, copywriter and editor, based in Manchester and specialising in social, political and environmental issues. Since 1999 I've been writing about subjects as diverse as local allotment closures, Palestinian fair trade and women in ethical business. Drawing on this, I also offer copywriting, writing and editing services ranging from simple website or leaflet proofing to project managing and editing entire magazines. I can also deliver writing and PR training for small organisations and social enterprises, on an affordable sliding scale.

I'm also a director of Togetherworks, the representative body for social enterprise in Greater Manchester, on the advisory committee of labour rights NGO Women Working Worldwide, a co-op member at Openspace workspace co-operative and a member of the National Union of Journalists.
